Each of these properties has been personally tried and tested during my visits over the past three years, and they truly capture the essence of Melaka’s warm hospitality and unique character.

Shore Hotel & Residences Melaka
A family friend hotel near downtown Melaka offering 1-3 Bedroom furnhised room with fridge, oven and microwave.
Bayou Lagoon Resort
Offering Studio apartments and 2 bedroom apartments suitable for families and large groups. The resort is located in Ayer Keroh
Hatten Hotel Melaka
Centrally locate next to Makhota parade shopping mall, makes it an ideal location for visitors planning to explore the main tourist areas of Melaka.
Shore Hotel & Residences
Ideally located within 2 km of the city limits, this amazing multi-story hotel is popular with families, offering 1-2-3-bedroom units with kitchens and other basic amenities. The 42-story building has shopping malls, cafes and restaurants and along with other features like:

- Water park on the 6th Floor

- Easy access to the Melaka River

What I liked about this hotel:

- A restaurant on the ground floor
- Easy drive to Jonker Walk area
- Access to Melaka River Cruise
- Waiting time in the lift
- Cutlery and cooking facilities are not provided in the booking
- Service was slow at times
Bayou lagoon Resort
Bayou Lagoon Resort is located at the outskirts of the city in the area of Ayer Keroh. This part of the town has undergone plenty of development in the last decade, and you will observe plenty of new buildings. The resort, however, is easily accessible by car.
Things I liked about this resort:
- Peaceful surrounding
- Comfortable Rooms
- Waterpark and pool
- Easy access to the Zoo and other places of interest in Ayer Keroh
What could have been better:
- Distance from the city
- Restaurants are far off
- Lack of activity in the neighbourhood at night
3.Hatten Hotel
Hatten Hotel is centrally located next to Makhota Mall and Dataran Pahlawan Shopping Mall. The Menara Taming Sari is a 5-minute walk from the Hotel. If you want to enjoy a central location with excellent amenities, Hatten Hotel is the place to stay.
