Menara KL - KL Tower

KL Tower is centrally located within KLCC within walking distance of major hotels like Shangrila and Concorde Hotel. I stayed at Concorde Hotel and could see the tower from my hotel window. A walkway from the Bukit Nanas monorail train station. At the top of the tower is a revolving restaurant. The tower is built on top of a hill with an altitude higher than Petronas Twin Towers. 

It is best suggested to book the tour online as the location is quite busy and there are normally long queues for people trying to get to the observation deck. There are a number of other attractions very within the same area including KL Mini Zoo & KL Treetop walks with good views of thick tropical forest within the heart of KL. 

For solo travellers, this area can be best explored on foot as there is Bukit Nanas Reserve surrounding the Tower with a rich plantation of local tropical plantations indigenous to the region

If you are travelling with family, the KL mini zoo offers an interesting mix of birds and animals. You will be able to get close to a number of animals in captivity.
