1. Shop at the Central Market Kuala Lumpur

Find souvenirs, artifacts, modern art, handicrafts, batik, traditional clothing and crafts of Malaysia at one place. Established in 1888, Central Market captures the cultural heritage of Malaysia. This is definitely one of my all-time favourite locations to explore in Kuala Lumpur.
Petaling Street (Chinatown) and Kasturi Walk are located right next the markets.

2. Shop Till You Drop in KL

Pavilion, Fahrenheit88, Sephora & Sungei Wang are centrally located in Bukit Bintang, the tourist centre of Kuala Lumpur. Shop from mid-range local brands to international chains all under one roof. Frequent sales offer great prices on many fashion products. Stop to take a break at one of the many food outlets, cafes within the shopping malls. 

Sungei Wang is home to mid-range shopping and locally manufactured products, as well as toys. Beauty services and money-changers can be found in this market. An overhead walkway connects Sungei Wang to Bukit Bintang Train Station and H&M stores. 

Mid-Valley Mall is another of my favourite shopping places with plenty of choice, great deals and excellent restaurants.

Changkat Bukit Bintang is Kuala Lumpur’s famous nightlife strip — a lively street packed with trendy bars, rooftop lounges, international restaurants, and pulsating clubs. 7. Visit Botanic Gardens in KL

The Kuala Lumpur Botanical Garden, also known as Perdana Botanical Gardens, is a lush green oasis in the heart of the city. Spanning over 90 hectares, it’s home to vibrant flower gardens, tropical trees, and themed sections like the Orchid and Hibiscus Gardens. Visitors can enjoy peaceful walking trails, scenic lakes, and even spot exotic birds. 8. Visit Batu Caves in Kuala Lumpur

Batu Caves, located just outside Kuala Lumpur, is a famous Hindu temple complex and one of Malaysia’s top attractions. It features a towering golden statue of Lord Murugan and a series of limestone caves housing colorful shrines. Visitors climb 272 rainbow-painted steps to reach the main Temple Cave, offering panoramic views and a glimpse into rich Tamil culture and religious traditions.

11. Iconic Petronas Tower & KLCC  Park

Located in the heart of Golden Triangle, Petronas Towers, KLCC Park & KLCC Suria Shopping Malls are located in the same location. This is  a must visit location for first-timers to KL. 
Petronas Twin Towers are the the tallest twin towers in Asia and important landmark of Malaysia’s prosperity. Aquaria KLCC is located in the basement of the Petronas Twin Towers. The entry fee to the foot-bridge connecting the two towers is RM 80. KLCC Park is located irght next the twin towers and KLCC Suria Mall. Luxury Mandarin Oriental and Traders Hotel by Shangrila are located adjacent to the twin towers.

Bangsar is a popular suburb in Kuala Lumpur famous for its uptown lifestyle, fancy dining options and world-class shopping Malls.  I developed a love for this locality when I visited it for the first time in 2009. Bangsar Village is a popular hotspot for foodlovers and party-goers. Bangsar South is an emerging neighbourhood offering high-end accommodation and trendy dining experiences.

13. Menara KL

An iconic landmark commanding views of  Kuala Lumpur skyline, Menara Kuala Lumpur or KL Tower is a must visit location during your trip to Kuala Lumpur. Kuala Lumpur mini zoo is located right next to the Menara offers a lovely collection of birds and animals. Visiting Menara KL is definitely amgonst top ten things to do in KL. 
A canopy walk is located in the same area as MENARA KL. 
There are normally long queues at this location, therefore, booking online is highly recommended. The Observation deck on the top of the Menara KL offers amazing views of KL Skyline. 

Enjoy the warm ambiance of a well-stocked, illuminated bar perfect for nightlife and celebrations.
